Vaporum: Lockdown sortira sur Switch le 22 mars 2021

Fatbot Games annonce la sortie de Vaporum: Lockdown sur Switch. Le dungeon crawler est attendu sur l’eShop de Nintendo le 22 mars 2021.

Pour rappel, Vaporum: Lockdown est un jeu de rôle de type dungeon crawler qui précède Vaporum. Disponible depuis le 15 septembre 2020 sur PC, il met en scène un univers steampunk tout en s’inspirant des classiques du genre, dont Dungeon Master, Eye of the Beholder et The Legend of Grimrock.

Préquel de Vaporum, Vaporum: Lockdown est un dungeon crawler, sous-genre très particulier du jeu de rôle dans lequel le joueur évolue à la première personne et case par case dans un environnement qui recèle de monstres, de pièges et d’énigmes. Très en vogue dans les années 80 puis 90 avec des jeux comme Lands of Lore: The Throne of Chaos ou les premiers Might & Magic, le genre est peu à peu tombé en désuétude avec la démocratisation de la 3D. On repère toutefois dans le paysage des jeux indépendants quelques titres récents comme les Legend of Grimrock, Operencia: The Stolen Sun ou le premier Vaporum.
