Disponible gratuitement sur PC depuis 2017, Doki Doki Literature Club! est un jeu d’horreur psychologique maquillé grâce à un habillage mignon. Le titre se caractérise également parce qu’il « brise » le quatrième mur. Cet aspect rend Doki Doki Literature Club! difficile à adapter aux consoles de salon et on a hâte de découvrir de quelle manière le studio s’y est pris.

L’éditeur précise que Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! bénéficiera en outre de graphismes améliorés, de nouveaux arcs narratifs, d’une centaine d’illustrations à déverrouiller et d’un lecteur de musiques intégré.
Grâce au concours de PQube, Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! sera aussi disponible en édition physique, pour les consoles PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 et Switch uniquement. Le prix européen n’a pas encore été fixé mais les Américains pourront l’acquérir en échange de 29,99 $ (25,06 € environ).
